Term 3 reflection

It's quickly come to that time again. The last day of term three. I can't believe it has gone so quickly. We have fit in a lot this term and there is much to reflect on.

Here are some of our reflections.

I have had a wonderful experience during term three because of rugby. We got so far in the tournament and I managed to stay at camp for three days and two nights without my parents. My writing has improved and I have become neater. I'm starting to learn my fractions. I am starting to make more friends now and I'm controlling my anger a lot more. I used to really struggle in class but I'm not struggling as much anymore so I'm getting smarter. I am starting to work with people more often instead of not working with them and then failing. My reading is improving because I'm reading more at home and read by myself now too.

Brooklyn

My highlight for term three was camp because it was really exhilarating. We got to learn new ways to work as a team. In rugby, we won our first two tournaments and ended up being the second best in Auckland. Football was really outstanding and the Motuhake show was really touching. I enjoyed making the Canva posters as it was something new for me to try out and also because we could do one of our memories of camp. I'm still learning to give the speaker full attention and I'm still working on ordering improper fractions.

Anare

I think camp was my highlight for term three because it helped me with teamwork and it had some interesting activities and I had some exquisite achievements from it. I think it was pretty fun at camp as everyone got together as a family and we had lots of fun. I still think I need to learn about listening and thinking because I'm still impulsive and I need to learn from my mistakes when I do something wrong. I am proud of the reports that I write because i'm putting information into my writing but i'm also using my imagination and putting little touches into it so it makes it interesting.

Braxton

I think I've completed my writing goal because I've shortened more stories but added in more descriptive words that have made them more interesting. I like writing.

Victoria

I think that this year was quite fun and we got to do lots of activities and trips. The best trip was camp because I had two nights away from my brother which was very peaceful. The activities were incredible, even though I did get scared of some of them, I gave it a go and that's the main thing.

Kairyn

I have managed to complete my basic facts learning and I'm not onto the grid. Also I know some of my fractions. I'm still learning them.
